Designed by the renowned LEGO® artist Ryan 'Brickman' McNaught, this exhibition is a masterpiece in itself. McNaught, a local talent from Bendigo, has crafted an experience that blends spectacular models with hands-on challenges, inviting visitors to become scientists, engineers, and artists all in one go! Imagine a 7.5-metre-tall NASA Space Launch System replica, built with over 460,000 bricks, or the intricate Mars exploration models that will transport you to another world.
And this is the part most people miss: it's not just about the visual appeal. 'Brickman' and his team have created an environment where learning is disguised as fun. As McNaught puts it, 'education by stealth', where kids (and adults!) can problem-solve, experiment, and learn without even realizing it. From building bridges that can withstand earthquakes to simply playing with bricks, the exhibition offers a unique and engaging way to explore STEM.
Among the highlights, you'll find a giant periodic table of elements, a display celebrating women in science, and an impressive Mars Rover model that's 2.9 meters long.
