The Thorverton Arms appeared on Four in a Bed in March 2025, with husband and wife Steve and Amanda Plumridge, who had previously declined the opportunity to appear on the show. They took over the pub in 2022, and Amanda, also known as Mandy, had this to say before the show aired: "We say we are a hub, not a pub."
